Here is a new post about scrapbook things. I wrote it and it was picked up by a friend of mine on his website.

Scrapbook Layouts – Digital vs. Traditional

April 27, 2009

There is a big difference between how pages are laid out when you’re using a computer to do your scrapping vs. actually attaching elements to a physical page. You have a lot more freedom to experiment and get things positioned the way you like them when you don’t actually have to cut into any of your precious scrapbooking supplies or damage any materials in the process. While physical resources are limited, the digital realm offers a virtually unlimited medium in which to experiment with your scrapbook layouts. If you have never tried it or even if you consider yourself computer illiterate, digiscrapping is still definitely worth a try.

Scrapbooking Paper Patterns – Splotch Backgrounds

April 10, 2009

This set of splotch scrapbooking paper patterns is available in several colors that can be further tweaked in your image editor. Each background is a 12″x12″ image that is perfect for your scrapbook pages and scrapbooking ideas, but the pattern is also seamlessly tileable so that it can be repeated an infinite number of times, both vertically and horizontally. Available in several colors, this background offers a subtle, muted quality for your pages.
